  • Ensure Safety: Collaborate with local law enforcement to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents, businesses, and visitors.

  • Enhance Civic Life: Champion projects that beautify and improve recreational opportunities in Union County.

  • Share Knowledge: Provide members with valuable information through newsletters, guest speakers, and educational programs.

  • Build Partnerships: Form alliances with organizations to amplify our collective impact on the community.

History

Union County Business and Professional Association was founded with the mission of fostering community growth and opportunities in Union County. Our slogan, "Growth through Giving," reflects our commitment to service and development.

A cornerstone of our efforts was the creation of Wilson Park, a project realized through the collaboration of over 110 members and citizens, with the support of a Tennessee Parks and Recreation Grant.

This 15-acre park, donated by Robert Johnson, stands as a testament to our dedication, benefiting Union County residents and visitors from across East Tennessee during events like Thunder in the Park and the Union County Heritage Festival.

Our monthly meetings serve as a platform for entrepreneurs, small business owners, and professionals to network, share ideas, and learn about business and community-related topics. We welcome individuals who share our mission to join us in making a positive impact on our community.

During each election year the Candidate Forum helps inform our members and the public about candidates.

UCBPA Charities, Inc.

UCBPA Charities, Inc. is the organization that funds our scholarships for Union County graduating Seniors; and as a not-for-profit, plays a vital role in Union County by providing support and opportunities for local businesses and professionals to give back and make Union County a better place to live, work, play and pray.

To date, we have provided over $110,000 in scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Union County. This program is a critical component of our mission to support the educational aspirations of local youth, helping them to pursue higher education and achieve their career goals.
